What do SIWA members say about past Enrichment Classes?

Bärbel Herbig, Student, Creating Accessories:

I really liked Fitri’s jewelry class. I thought it was fun designing individual pieces and I was impressed by how patient and skilled she is. She showed how to handle the tools to realize simple jewelry. In addition this gave me the opportunity to resume a hobby that I had when I was a child. I even enjoyed following her to Dongdaemun’s Beads and Craft Market where I’ve never been before. Seeing all the ribbons, pendants, leather strings, charms and beads gave me some new ideas. Thanks to Fitri sharing her taken and passion in accessories design with us.

Angela Yeung, Student, Oriental Flower Arranging:

One of my goals for coming to Korea was to try new things and to participate in activities that I wouldn’t have had time to do back home

At the SIWA coffee, I met Ms. Kim, a horticulturist with over 30 years of teaching experience. She was so nice and interesting that I decided to try her oriental flower arranging class. I didn’t know what to expect and wasn’t sure I would even like it. It turns out that I LOVE oriental flower arranging. It has been so much fun and it is amazing to see the final product come together. My husband looks forward to a new creation every week. I have also make so many wonderful new friends from many different cultures. They are such sweet, interesting people and have helped to make the class fun. What a fantastic experience! Thank you SIWA!
