The “Hello English Cooking Program” uses TPR (Total Physical Response), where kids may enjoy art, book and songs during a cooking class. Kids can touch, feel, smell and eat. It will stimulate the senses and allow for creativity. Cooking can be a motivator to inspire and educate. The program’s target age is 4-7 years old Korean age (age 2-6 years old).

Each cooking team (one parent and one kid) will create 4 Monster Mini Pizzas. The cost is KRW 10,000 per person (limit to 2 people per cooking team). The price includes ingredients, supplies and the cooking studio space at Shinsegae Academy. The introduction will include a greeting song, picture book and simple game. In the development phase, we will explore the ingredients and learn how to cook. In closing, we will review our culinary achievements, do a final activity and sing a closing song. You will be able to take your Monster Mini Pizzas home with you and make your own monster balloon.

Halloween costumes for both adults and kids are highly encouraged for this M&T activity. Group photo will be taken at the end of the cooking party with everyone’s homemade monster mini pizza creations!

Participants: Recommended age range for children is 2-6 years old (or 4-7 years old Korean age). Limited to one parent on each team.

Pricing: KRW 20,000 per team payable in cash or credit card directly to Shinsegae Academy. SSG Membership is required but we will help you sign up for SSG Membership. 3-hours of complimentary parking is included at Shinsegae Department Store. All cooking supplies are provided.
