Explore the Noryangjin fish market and enjoy a delicious lunch (optional). Opened in 1927 on Uiju-ro, Noryangjin fish market is the largest and most popular seafood market in Seoul. The market handles about 50% of metropolitan Seoul’s marine trade, about 250 to 300 tons of marine products every day. The market recently moved into a modernized building. So this is a wonderful opportunity to see the new market.

Many stalls line the market where fish is purchased, sliced and packaged to each customer’s specifications. After buying, you can head over to a restaurant to eat your purchases. Basically you either buy fish to take home, or eat at one of the market’s many restaurants. Each restaurant cooks and serves your fish as you wish. The price depends on the number of persons and style of cooking.
